Bengal Association of Bloomsburg Area (BABA) hosts a cultural presentation in Town Park in Bloomsburg in May. 2010 will be the 10th anniversary of the event.

Experimental music collective forming in Bloomsburg Area.

A collection of 12 songs is in the works for release in 2010. Preproduction is nearly complete and drum rehearsal will begin in January, with tracking in February. I'm taking my time on this one, since live drums always adds additional variables, but I think the results will be worth it.

Annual Stillwater Poetry Festival takes place in September at Memorial Park in Stillwater, PA

(It's just 14 miles north of Bloomsburg/I-80, on Route 487.)

The event is rain or shine (there is a big tent), and is "pay what you wish." In addition a line-up of award-winning poets, there is jazz, writing workshops, open mic segments, and good food.
